The 2023 Mazda CX-5 is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, which produces up to 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. 6-speed automatic transmission is standard for the base model, along with All-Wheel Drive. The available Turbo and Turbo Signature trims come with a high-powered engine, moving output to 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.
The 2023 Mazda CX-50 uses the same base engine as the CX-5, a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder with 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. CX-50 Turbo trims use a turbocharged engine variant with up to 256 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. Like the CX-5, All-Wheel Drive is standard for all ten trims.
